Beulaville, NC, native, Dr. Parker, graduated East Duplin High School in 1999. She continued her education at East Carolina University and gained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. From there, Dr. Parker attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and achieved her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Suma Cum Laude honors. She completed her General Practice Residency at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University where she acquired extensive training in oral surgery practices and treating medically complex patients. Based on her outstanding academic achievements and oath to promise innovation within the dental field, Dr. Parker was inducted into the Phi Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Parker joined Southland Dental Care in 2008 and since has completed a rigorous dental implant continuum at the Triangle Dental Institute in Durham and is deemed as a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Furthermore, Dr. Parker completed residency in Dental Sleep Medicine and Oral Appliance Therapy for Sleep Apnea at UNC – Chapel Hill and has achieved Diplomacy in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Parker completed extensive studies in occlusion and complex prosthodontics under the renowned doctors, Dr. Pete Dawson of the Dawson Academy in Clearwater Beach, FL, and Dr. Gordon Christenson in Provo, Utah. Each year Dr. Parker commits herself to continuing her education through various courses, keeping up to date with the latest and most advanced techniques, materials, and dental technology. Dr. Parker imparts her knowledge daily with the patients at Southland Dental Care.

Dr. Parker resides in Beulaville with her three beautiful children, Bella Peach, Ireland Jaimes, and Richmond Henry “Huck”! When she is not giving it her all at SDC, Dr. Parker loves going to the lake and enjoys wakeboarding and water skiing. She is an outstanding singer and you have likely heard her talents at local area events and churches…or even while you are in the dental chair! She also dedicates her time as a Member of the Duplin County Board of Health. Full time mom, full time dentist – the woman does it all!
