All our professionals at Southland Dental Care maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.
Wendy graduated in 2013 from Brunswick Community College in Leland, NC and then continued her education at James Sprunt Community College in 2014. From there she received her Certificate in Phlebotomy.
Vanessa joined the Southland Dental Care team in 2015 and has been a vital member here since. Wendy is our Roving Assistant; she keeps the wheels turning within the office and assists both Dr. Sholar and Dr. Parker. Wendy is also our Sterilization Specialist making sure all of our Infection Control practices are set into place when cleaning and sterilizing our dental instruments. Furthermore, Wendy is fluent in Spanish and serves as our Spanish Interpreter helping us to care for a wider range of patients in their primary language.
Wendy lives in Wallace with her family. She is a proud mom to her daughter, Xessenia (16), and son, Hallington (12) and their dogs Lilo and Max. Wendy is a fantastic cook and enjoys cooking for her friends and family; she loves to spend time with them when she is not here in the office. Wendy also enjoys to go shopping and travel when she can!
